Chiemgau, Samerberg near Munich, Germany

I follow the trail of chamois high in the Alps and settle to paint where they have rested. Vast views stretch below a never-ending sky and rocks breathe life into the roots of ancient silver firs. I set up my shelter when the snow falls or the wind drives. I sink into the place between the worlds and the paintings occur.
